Businesses wanted for in-training service dog visits


A Xenia non-profit is looking for businesses that service dogs can visit as part of their training.

4 Paws for Ability trains service dogs that are placed with children with disabilities and with veterans.

It is seeking businesses to volunteer as locations where puppies and dogs can be taken for visits as part of their training to adjust to a range of public settings they might encounter when working.

LOCAL: CEO of Dayton Red Cross chapter to retire

4 Paws places about 100 dogs a year, with different kinds of skill sets like autism assistance, mobility assistance, diabetic alerting and seizure assistance.
