Construction of a new hotel near the Mall at Fairfield Commons was announced on Tuesday, February 11. The new hotel will be built on 4.2 acres south of the mall and will join nearby lodging offerings like the Hilton Garden Inn, Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott. A Starbucks Coffee is expected to open within the month, too.
