The couple bought the dealership with 22 people employed there. Now, less than half a year later, they’ve added 10 jobs and have plans to add up to 10 more.
“Hopefully in the near future we can build a new facility and more than double the square footage to over 45,000,” Brett Tekavec said.
Over the past 26 years, Tekavec has worked for a dealership, worked for Harley-Davidson Motor Company and has owned two dealerships. A previous dealership was sold off in December, he said.
“We really enjoy the Cincinnati area after moving here over 10 years ago,” Tekavec said. “Now we can’t wait to get involved in the Fairfield community and support all of the great things happening here.”

Tekavec said his plan is to grow the sport of motorcycling while providing “an incredible purchase experience.”
“We understand that you can spend your hard-earned dollars anywhere, that’s why we do everything to make sure we’ve answered all of your questions and you leave completely satisfied,” he said.
Tekavec said he purchased the new location because the Cincinnati market is “under-served.”
“There’s over 2 million people in the metropolitan area and .. the opp is much greater than anywhere I’ve ever been,” he said.

It also helps that the business is located on the highly visible Dixie Highway, a stretch of road that sees approximately 50,000 vehicles pass each day.
In addition, Harley Davidson is and will remain a popular and enduring name because of its 104-year-old history and “the iconic bar and shield that people recognize,” Tekavec said.
“This motorcycle has been around since 1903 and there’s something special with being associated with that for generations past, present and future,” he said.

Tekavec said customers can expect “a premium experience” from the moment they walk through the door.
“My staff will assist everyone that comes through our door to make sure that they see and are aware of everything we offer,” he said.
That includes a full-line of riding gear, which includes helmets, leather jackets, boots and gloves, in addition to fashionwear.
The business also services all years of Harley Davidson models.
A grand opening ceremony scheduled for noon Saturday will include a chain-torching ceremony with Harley-Davidson motorcycles performing burn-outs as it occur. The event also will feature a bike tent event sale on new 2016s and used motorcycles, live music from 1 to 3 p.m., plus a food truck and free refreshments. The first 150 people there will receive a scratch off card for up to 30 percent off their entire purchase of Harley-Davidson licensed products.
