Senior living company with Dayton presence buys Cincinnati property

Capital Senior Living Corp., which has several facilities in the Miami Valley, has acquired two assisted living facilities as part of a $56 million deal.

Capital Senior Living, a Texas-based company, has acquired the Renaissance West at North Bend Crossing in Cincinnati along with another facility in Massachusetts. The corporation already operates 14 assisted living facilities in Ohio, including locations in Dayton, Hamilton, Fairfield and Middletown.

Capital owns The Wellington at Dayton on West Alex Bell Road, which provides memory care services, respite care, assisted living and independent living services.

The facilities were owned by Keystone Senior, which owns and operates senior living, independent living and assisted living facilities in several states.

The sale, which has an aggregate price of $56 million for both properties, was facilitated by Stephen Snider, an independent senior housing broker. Snider said he represented Keystone Senior LLC under a licensee portability agreement with a Massachusetts commercial brokerage.

Capital also operates facilities in Iowa, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Colorado and Wisconsin and is developing facilities in Florida.
