H&M sets opening date for new Butler County store

International fashion retailer H&M has set an opening date for its new 29,000-square-foot store at the approximately $350 million Liberty Center development.

The retailer will open the doors of its 16th storefront in Ohio to customers at noon March 31, according to the company.

To celebrate, H&M at Liberty Center will offer the first 100 shoppers in line a T-shirt and Access to Fashion Pass, valued between $10 and $300, in addition to other surprise offers, according to a press release. Customers who recycle a piece of clothing on opening day can also enter to win a gift card from $50 to $250.

About 30 new employees will be hired for the new store, according to H&M. For more information about job opportunities, visit career.hm.com.

Hours for the new H&M, located at 7140 Foundry Row in Liberty Twp., will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.

Following the grand opening last fall of Liberty Center in Butler County, the mega retail complex is seeing its next wave of tenant openings this year.

Liberty Center’s October 2015 opening at the intersection of Ohio 129, Liberty Way and Interstate 75 fulfilled more than five years of planning, design and construction. It is believed to be one of the largest developments in Butler County history with the potential to create about 3,500 new full- and part-time jobs once full occupancy is reached by 2018, according to local government officials.
