IT training service offers free consultations to seniors

The Senior Tutor, a Centerville-based information technology tutoring business, is announcing a free service, called “MegaByte Monday.”

Starting Jan. 8, Dayton-area senior citizens can schedule a free 15-minute phone call on computer or information technology issues and questions with Senior Tutor owner Marianne Bailey.

The Senior Tutor works with seniors on how to better use smartphones, computers, tablets and other devices and programs.

“We are happy to provide this new service to fill that need, especially with the holiday season being here and seniors getting new technology as gifts,” Bailey said in an announcement.

The Senior Tutor will also continue to offer one-on-one lessons for those who need more than 15 minutes on the phone.
