Woolpert opens office in downtown Cincinnati

Local engineering firm Woolpert has opened a new office in Over-the-Rhine, a historic district of downtown Cincinnati.

The Beavercreek-based company has opened its Cincinnati office at the second floor of a building at 1203 Walnut St. More than 20 full-time architects, engineers, surveyors and support staff will work at the new location.

The firm has more than 23 offices in the U.S., and its headquarters will remain in the Dayton area. The new office was funded through the Job Creation Tax Credit by the City of Cincinnati.

“Our new Over-the-Rhine location reflects our progressive and innovative approach to architecture, engineering and geospatial services, and provides a hip new location for our talented employees who live in and around the Cincinnati community,” said Scott Cattran, Woolpert president and CEO .

The firm currently works with several clients in the city including the University of Cincinnati, Anderson Birkla, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport, Koch Development, Procter & Gamble, Towne Properties, General Electric and Duke Energy.

Woolpert was founded in Dayton in 1911, and has 213 employees at its Beavercreek headquarters.
