Woolpert will work on FEMA projects in an area that includes Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and several other states.

Woolpert did similar work for governments in the wake of hurricanes Irma and Harvey in 2017 and after flooding in South Carolina in 2015.
“This immediate, accurate assessment of public infrastructure will help identify which roads, bridges, ports, harbors, airports, etc., are structurally sound in the wake of a catastrophe,” Matt Harrison, Woolpert program director, said in a press release.

With about 230 Dayton-area employees, Woolpert has about 25 offices nationwide.
