Dayton's top accident locations, 2012

The Dayton Police Department has a mobile speed enforcement vehicle that the department uses to detect speed violators. This vehicle has surveillance equipment that can take still photos and shoot 12 seconds of video of the violation, according to Dayton Police Officer Jason Ward.

Citizen complaints determine where the department will place the unmanned mobile speed enforcement vehicle in the city. Some of the pre-approved locations for where this vehicle can be placed include:

  • North James H. McGee
  • Third Street
