Crude Oil and Ethanol Accidents

Flammable crude oil and ethanol are both shipped in old-style train tank cars that have often punctured in derailments, leading to explosions, fires, deaths, injuries and environmental damage. Train accidents involving crude oil have increased in recent years as the shale oil boom boosts production. These are some of the recent accidents.
