Dayton, is a robot going to take your job? Maybe.

Are robots coming for your job? Er, maybe.

About half of Ohio workers have jobs that will probably be automated in the near future, according to a new story by the Columbus Dispatch.

The story focuses on research from a 2013 study by University of Oxford researchers Carl Benedikt Frey and Michael A. Osborne. The pair rated 702 jobs on the likelihood they will be automated or computerized.

The scale was from zero (not computerizable) to one (a robot is certainty going to take the job).

There is a lot to it, but basically the lower an occupation ranks on the researcher’s list, the more likely it will taken over by bots.
