JUST IN: ‘Poison’ singers Bell Biv DeVoe to ‘do’ Dayton

Dayton, it is time to trust a big butt and a smile.

Bell Biv DeVoe, the '90s R&B trio that gave the world the songs "Do Me," "Poison," and "When Will I See You Smile Again," will perform a 7:30 p.m. show on Dec. 27 at the Schuster Center, 1 W. Second St. in downtown Dayton.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17.

Tickets will start at $42 and be available at the Ticket Center Stage Box Office by calling 937-228-3630, 888-228-3630 or online at ticketcenterstage.com.

The American Music Award-winning new jack swing band is an offshoot of New Edition. The band features members Ricky BellMichael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe (also known as Ricky, Ronnie and Mike).

“It’s a great Christmas present,” Diane Schoeffler-Warren, a spokeswoman for the Victoria Theatre Association, said of the show that falls between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

The show in promotion of Bell Biv DeVoe's latest album "Three Stripes" will be opened by Demetria McKinney, a star of the TBS sitcom "Tyler Perry's House of Payne."

Her songs included the 2017 release “Easy.”
