Local shopping mall to host its first wine-tasting — and more are coming

The Mall at Fairfield Commons will host its first wine-tasting event this Friday, Feb. 9 — and it won’t be the last, according to a mall spokeswoman.

NEW DETAILS: Restaurant eviction lawsuit at The Greene is escalating

The inaugural wine-tasting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9 in the mall’s Center Court. Attendees of the ticketed event will sample four wines alongside appetizers and desserts from some of the mall’s restaurants, including Flyboys Deli Beavercreek, Melt Bar and Grilled, Bravo! Cucina Italiana, Chuy’s and Fusian. Tickets are $10, and ticket sales will benefit the Beavercreek Rotary Club. The event also will include music, and a painting demonstration by a local artist.

Restaurants that closed in Dayton in January

The Mall at Fairfield Commons “definitely will be doing more of these” wine-tastings, a mall spokeswoman said.

Tickets are $10 and are available at this eventbrite.com web link and also can be purchased at the Mall Office located inside Entrance C between Dick’s Sporting Goods and Sears.

Tickets are non-refundable.
