Dayton Flyers senior Kendall Pollard left the Kingston Center with a fat lip Friday, courtesy of an elbow he took to the face in the second half of a 75-74 victory at Rhode Island. It was so swollen he didn’t want to give an interview on camera about his senior class winning its 97th game and tying the school record for wins by a class.

RANKINGS: 1-25; 26-50; 51-75.

Scoochie Smith surely had a few bumps and bruises of his own after a hard-fought victory, but he looked fine as he spoke about a goal he has long sought.

The Flyers broke the record Tuesday with an 85-63 victory at Saint Louis. I ranked all 98 wins of the past four seasons, mostly by the Ken Pomeroy rating of the opponent. Here’s a look at Nos. 76-98.

76. Dec. 3, 2014: Dayton 66, Miami 62

Dayton lost most of a 14-point lead but escaped Millett Hall with a victory. Pollard matched his career high with 15 points.

77. Jan. 3, 2015: Dayton 81, Duquesne 55

Kyle Davis scored what was then a career-high 17 points in Dayton’s A-10 opener at UD Arena.

78. Jan. 14, 2017: Dayton 76, Duquesne 57

Xeyrius Williams scored a career-high 19 points. The game in Pittsburgh was marred by Kyle Davis spraining his ankle late in the second half. He would miss the next two games.

79. Feb. 4, 2017: Dayton 90, Duquesne 53

This was the most lopsided victory of the last four seasons and one of 10 won by 30 or more points.

80. Feb. 23, 2016: Dayton 52, Saint Louis 49 (OT)

Less than a month after beating the Billikens by 36 points, the Flyers struggled to survive an upset on the road. They scored 14 points in the first half and forced overtime on a layup by Scoochie Smith with 36 seconds left. UD shot 31.7 percent, its worst percentage in a victory in the past four seasons.

81. Jan. 27, 2016: Dayton 73, Saint Louis 37

The 70th win for Dayton’s seniors was the largest blowout in the last four years when it happened and is now the second-largest.

82. Jan. 1, 2014: Dayton 81, Winthrop 47

Dayton improved to 4-1 on New Year’s Day and 10-0 against teams from the Big South.

83. Dec. 20, 2014: Dayton 78, Boston University 62

In the first game following the dismissals from the team of Jalen Robinson and Devon Scott, Kendall Pollard made his first career start and scored 19 points. Thus, this was the first game in which Pollard, Davis and Smith started together. Dayton had an eight-man team at this point, and it became seven not long later when Ryan Bass was lost for the season due to concussion issues.

84. Jan. 30, 2016: Dayton 59, La Salle 44

Pollard scored 18 points. The Flyers improved to 18-3.

85. Jan. 14, 2015: Dayton 61, La Salle 50

Among the highlights in the 40th win for the senior class was another double-double by Dyshawn Pierre (16 points, 14 rebounds).

86. Nov. 25, 2016: Dayton 84, Portland 74

UD bounced back from back-to-back losses to St. Mary’s and Nebraska with a win in its second game at the Wooden Legacy in Fullerton, Calif. Cooke scored 20 points.

87. Nov. 29, 2014: Dayton 75, Illinois-Chicago 41

This was the 30th win of the past four seasons. Junior walk-on Bobby Wehrli, who would earn a scholarship for the second semester, scored his first career points. Pollard made his first career 3-pointer.

88. Dec. 14, 2013: Dayton 84, Central Michigan 58

Devin Oliver and Dyshawn Pierre each scored 15 points in a win at UD Arena.

89. Jan. 17, 2015: Dayton 61, Saint Louis 45

Pollard scored 20 points for the first time in his career. The Flyers improved to 15-2 and 5-0 in the A-10, their best start in the conference since 2003-04. This was the final victory in an eight-game winning streak.

90. Nov. 14, 2014: Dayton 76, Alabama A&M 52

The 2014-15 season opener featured a starring turn from freshman Darrell Davis, who had 17 points in his debut.

91. Feb. 10, 2015: Dayton 51, Saint Louis 44

This was the lowest-scoring performance by UD in a victory in the past four seasons. Five of their 13 lowest-scoring games have come in the A-10 or NCAA tournaments.

92. Nov. 11, 2016: Dayton 96, Austin Peay 68

Charles Cooke scored a career-high 31 points in the season opener. He was the first Flyer since Chris Wright in 2010 to score 30. Before the game, Dayton coach Archie Miller presented the family of late Dayton center Steve McElvene with McElvene's A-10 championship ring.

93. Jan. 22, 2017: Dayton 67, Saint Louis 46

UD beat the Billikens for the sixth straight time, the longest winning streak in the history of the series.

94. Dec. 23, 2016: Dayton 92, Virginia Military Institute 56

Seven Flyers scored in double figures. At that point in the season, VMI had one victory against a Division I team. Smith became the 46th player in UD history to score 1,000 points. UD tied a school record by making 15 3-pointers.

95. Nov. 13, 2014: Dayton 70, St. Francis, Pa. 56

Sibert scored seven straight points to break 54-54 tie. UD ended the game on a 16-2 run.

96. Dec. 4, 2013: Dayton 56, Delaware State 46

Playing their first game of the season as a ranked team, No. 25 in the AP poll, the Flyers pulled away in the second half against a team that finished 9-21 and No. 321 in the Pomeroy ratings.

97. Nov. 13, 2015: Dayton 84, Southeast Missouri State 53

Ryan Mikesell scored 21 points in his UD debut. The 2016-17 senior class started together for the first time: Cooke, Smith, Pollard and Davis.

98. Dec. 6, 2016: Dayton 91, St. Joseph’s College 59

This game ranks last because it's Dayton's only game in the past four seasons against a lower-division school. The Pumas play in NCAA Division II. Kyle Davis scored a career-high 18 points.
