Get in the mood for “Game of Thrones” with these themed cocktails

Now that “Game of Thrones” has brought our binge-watching habits back full-force, we’re going to be spending a lot more time at home instead of out on the town.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy good drinks, of course.

Better yet, these cocktails recipes were inspired by the show and just might bring to mind all of our favorite moments from the six seasons “Game of Thrones” has been on air. The rum-based Blood of the Dragon — a punch that you’ll want to bring out during a “Thrones” watch party — is, for example, just like Daenerys: seductive and dangerous.

And the Crows’ Old Fashioned, which highlights a rustic, old-world brandy from Château du Tariquet, “is rich, warming and brooding. Just what one needs before going north of the Wall,” according to a recipe round-up.

The Crows’ Old-Fashioned

1 1/2 oz. Tariquet VSOP Armagnac

1 oz. Amaro Lucano

2 dashes Green Chartreuse

1/2 oz. simple syrup

star anise

orange peel

Stir all ingredients with ice and serve in an Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with star anise and orange peel.

Blood of the Dragon

1 750 mL bottle Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva rum

15 oz. lemon Juice

10 oz. rosemary and thyme simple syrup (made by combining 2 parts white sugar, 1 part water, 1 sprig of thyme, 1 sprig of rosemary in large pot; bring to a boil and let stand until cool)

5 oz. honey

Combine all ingredients in a punch bowl with ice. Ladle into punch glasses. Garnish each glass with sprigs of rosemary and thyme. Serves 20.
