CARAMEL CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE COOKIES

INGREDIENTS

1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 tsp. vanilla

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

10-ounce package chocolate Oreo thins crushed and divided

1/2 cup caramel sauce

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cream together the butter and cream cheese. Mix well, about two minutes, until smooth. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in flour and 1/2 cup crushed Oreos and caramel sauce. Mix well.

3. Refrigerate 2-4 hours or overnight until easy to handle.

4. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts, then roll in remaining crushed Oreos.

5. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 13-15 minutes. Let cool. Drizzle with caramel sauce. Store in refrigerator. Best served cold.
