How YOU can win tickets to see ‘Hamilton’ on Broadway

A local nonprofit is offering a shot no fan of "Hamilton: An American Musical" would want to throw away.

The Dayton chapter of A Special Wish Foundation is raffling off a three night stay in New York for two to see the Tony Award-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda musical on Broadway.

David Seyer, A Special Wish's executive director, said 600 tickets will be sold for $25 each for the raffle, which will take place Feb. 9.

The raffle is part of A Special Wish’s 13th annual “Dancing with the Stars Valentines Dance” set for 6:30 p.m. to 11:30  p.m. that day at Wright State University’s Nutter Center, 3640 Colonel Glenn Highway, Fairborn.

Individual tickets to the dance are $150.

The raffle tickets are being sold by A Special Wish board members, on its website aspecialwishdayton.org, and by phone: (937) 223-9474.

You can still purchase raffle tickets if you are not attending the fundraising dance.

The Dayton chapter of A Special Wish Foundation has helped grant wishes to more than 1,600 children battling life-threatening illnesses for more than 30 years.

Seyer said the money raised from the raffle will be used for “children battling for their lives against life threatening disorders.”
