Seeking: United Rehabilitation Service is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with the Bud Light Barstool Open a nine-hole, nine-bar, indoor miniature golf outing in the north portion of Greater Dayton on Feb. 25. Volunteers will be stationed in one of nine bars: Bunkers Sports Bar and Grill, Submarine House, Hinders Sports Bar & Grill, Tony's Bada Bing, Oscar's Sports Bar and Grill, Bolts Sports Café, Shiloh Athletic Club, Wing's Sports Bar and Grille and Little York Tavern. During the event volunteers will be in charge of keeping track of and directing teams and keeping team scores. Volunteers will either be assigned to an early shift (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) or an afternoon shift (1:45-6 p.m.). All proceeds benefit children and adults with disabilities and special needs.
To sign up: Volunteers will need to sign up for the event by creating a profile on the online database at http://ursdayton.org/register/. Once volunteers have signed up, a volunteer specialist will contact them to confirm a shift time.
