Armor, tactical gear supplier liquidating store to move online

Trenton Tactical, which started from the trunk of a car in 2012, has its own line of tactical gear and armor and is continuing to grow, according to owner Spencer Stewart.

That growth, however, will occur solely online at www.trentontactical.com, Stewart said, as the business plans to close brick-and-mortar operations at 5573 Eureka Drive in Fairfield Twp. at the end of July.

“Simply clicking and dropping a shipment into a box seems to be what everyone wants, and at some point you have to step up to the plate and adapt,” he said. “We have reached a point where we ship more than we shake hands, so might as well free up some much needed family time and move forward to the next step.”

The business also is looking to keep a heavy brand presence locally, as well as grow its dealership network across the United States.

“By doing less, I feel we can help do much more,” Stewart said.

Trenton Tactical is liquidating its inventory of merchandise with a 50 percent off sale, including all clothing, footwear, morale patches, flags, duty belts, duty gear, non TTG-brand vests, pouches, slings, holsters and more.
