CLOSED: Locally owned, independent coffee shop shuts down after 1 year

A locally owned, independent coffee shop that opened just over a year ago has shut its doors for good.

The Flight Line Coffee Company opened Oct. 31, 2016 at 5604 Airway Road in the Page Manor Shopping Center in Riverside. But its owners announced on the coffee shop’s Facebook page that it was forced to shut down, on Nov. 19.

“We have just got notification that our landlord has leased our space,” Flight Line’s owners wrote. “We are extremely grateful for all the prayers and support that we have received from the community during our last days.”

The coffee shop also sold baked goods and offered drive-through service.
