Document: Teen exposed ‘private parts,’ had gun, drugs while at WPAFB

A teenager who allegedly trespassed onto Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in January faces 12 federal charges involving drugs, drunk driving, carrying a concealed weapon and indecent exposure.

A bill of information filed in Dayton’s U.S. District Court indicates DeAnthony Griffin, 19, faces those misdemeanor counts after a Jan. 12, 2017 incident.

The information — which doesn’t include a narrative — lists 12 counts that show Griffin was trespassing when he had marijuana, carried a loaded handgun and was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

The counts also indicated Griffin’s urine had at least 35 nanograms of marijuana metabolite, that he didn’t comply with the lawful order of a police officer and that he did “recklessly expose his private parts.”

Griffin also is accused of disorderly conduct in the presence of a law enforcement officer and that he operated a motor vehicle without being in reasonable control.

Neither WPAFB or U.S. Dept. of Justice spokespeople immediately returned messages seeking more information. No court dates have been set in Griffin’s case.
