Cruiser camera video released from Brookville officer-involved shooting

UPDATE @4:50 a.m. Jan 25:

Officials released cruiser camera footage Tuesday from four officers responding to an officer-involved shooting in Brookville.

Cruiser camera footage was released of one Clay Twp. police officer and three Brookville officers, including from the cruisers of Henry Edds and Frank Graci. Both Edds and Graci fired their weapons and Edds was struck by gunfire.

The cruiser camera footage released to News Center 7 was heavily edited, and the exchange of gunfire is not shown.

In the incident, Ashley Sides, 31, of Cookeville, Tenn., was shot and died from her injuries.

In early January, Conrad Davis was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of felonious assault on a peace officer for his actions that led to the death of Sides.

UPDATE @ 3:36 p.m. (Jan. 24):

Cruiser camera video was released today from the officer-involved shooting involving two Brookville police officers.

News Center 7’s Mike Campbell is sorting through the video and will have a report tonight on News Center 7 beginning at 5 p.m.

INITIAL REPORT:

A Montgomery County grand jury declined to indict two Brookville police officers that discharged their duty weapons in an incident Oct. 31, 2016.

In the incident, Ashley Sides, 31, of Cookeville, Tenn., was shot and died from her injuries, according to a media release.

The grand jury heard testimony and evidence concerning the officer-involved shooting.

Davis will be sentenced on February 10, 2017, at 4:00 pm.
