Kettering shooting suspect vehicle possibly located

UPDATE @ 3:19 p.m. (Mar. 27):

Law enforcement in Warren County have located a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description from a shots fired incident in Kettering, however police are still trying to confirm it is indeed the suspect vehicle, Kettering Police said.

A woman was in her car preparing to turn from Glenheath Drive to Wilmington Pike Saturday night, when two  men drove up from behind in a maroon minivan, according to Kettering Officer John Jung.

Jung said the female victim saw the muzzle of the passenger’s gun before he fired a single shot at her vehicle.

The suspect vehicle then fled from the scene and police are continuing to look for the two males believed to be involved in the incident, Jung said.

INITIAL REPORT:

Police are searching for a vehicle after its occupants fired shots at another vehicle Saturday in Kettering.

The shots were fired around 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of Wilmington Pike and Glenheath Drive from what was described by police as a large-caliber weapon.

The suspects’ vehicle fled south on Wilmington Pike toward Interstate 675. It is described as an older model maroon minivan with a black roof rack with two white males inside, according to reports.
