New Carlisle man indicted, accused of injuring 2-year-old

A New Carlisle man accused of injuring a 2-year-old boy has been indicted.

Seth Tackett, 25, has been indicted on charges of felonious assault and two counts of endangering children.

On June 24, family members of the boy discovered a “significant physical injury” and reported the case to police, according to the sheriff’s office. The boy was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus for treatment.

The child’s injuries included bruising from what appears to be choking, strikes, a tight squeezing grip and abuse to the boy’s genitals, according to police reports.

A Clark County Grand Jury also approved the following indictments:

Travis Lee Creachbaum, 34: Burglary, Receiving stolen property.

Tiffany L. Adams, 38, 432 Lyle Avenue: Receiving stolen property.

James A. Ragland, 45, 23 E. Southern Avenue: Failure to appear.

Isaac Lee Jones, 62, 137 S. Light St. Apt. B: Robbery.

Joshua Matthew Wix, 30: Failure to notify of a change of address.

Tyrone Lawrence Fambro Sr., 44, Columbus: Three counts of having weapons under disability, improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property.

Raymar Davon Thompson, 21: Harassment with a bodily substance.

Justin Paul Lannom, 23, 1403 S. Center Blvd.: Failure to comply with order or signal of police officer.

Samuel Harold Douglas, 33, 4651 E. National Road: Obstructing official business.

John William Hicks, 27: Obstructing official business.

Bobbie Lee Hagen, 29, Obstructing official business.

Edward G. Ropp, 55, St. Paris: Receiving stolen property.

David Clark, 52, 271 S. Plum St. Apt. 1: Domestic violence.

Nicole Haynes, 31, 525 E. Home Road: Trespass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present.

Wesley Sparks, 55, 124 Ramar Drive: Four counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs.

Jamaal L. Fleming, 35: Felonious assault.
