Pawned laptop leads to child pornography charges

A teenager has been indicted in Montgomery County on child pornography charges.

Allen Ellis, 19, faces 14 counts of pandering sexual oriented material involving a minor. He is not in custody and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

This case originated after Cashland took possession of a pawned laptop after the person stopped making payments on it. Cashland was about to wipe the laptop when they found child porn, according to court records. The computer was reportedly traced back to Ellis.

He is to be arraigned Nov. 3 in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
