UPDATE @ 9:56 p.m.: The University of Cincinnati shelter in place alert for a report of shots fired has been lifted. No injuries have been reported.

FIRST REPORT

University of Cincinnati students have been told to shelter in place after a report of shots fired on campus, the university’s police officials said.

UCPD issued the order, which also advises students to stay away from windows and to lock doors, after a report of shots fired on campus and a suspect seen running toward Marge Schott Stadium (baseball), according to our news partner at WCPO.com.

The incident was reported just before 8:30 p.m. We will update this developing report.
