A chaotic melee in a Fairfield bar led to shots fired and five stabbed or slashed early Sunday morning.

Fairfield Police said no one was hit in the club by gunfire but five people were taken to local hospitals with knife wounds, one of which was transported by AirCare medical helicopter.
