Troy man pleads guilty to manufacturing steroids

TROY - A Troy man accused of illegal manufacture of drugs, a synthetic anabolic steroid, and possession of drugs pleaded guilty Tuesday, June 1, to five felony charges in Miami County Common Pleas Court.

Joshua Morrow, 41, was charged following a November search of his home in an investigation into sale and manufacture of illegal steroids. Sheriff's investigators reported they seized vials of suspected illegal steroid manufacturing items, firearms and drug paraphernalia.

Morrow was indicted earlier this year on one count of illegal manufacture of drugs and four counts of possession of drugs. The manufacturing count included a specification to forfeit $380.

Morrow pleaded guilty as charged and agreed to the forfeiture of money.

Prosecutors agreed to remain silent regarding sentencing.

Judge Christopher Gee ordered a presentence investigation and set sentencing for July 31.
