DRONE VIDEO: Snowy scenes throughout Dayton

After a snowfall that lasted more than 24 hours, many people were out clearing their driveways and sidewalks on Tuesday morning.

Places east and south of Dayton saw more snow than others. Xenia got 3 inches while Beavercreek saw 1.5 and Dayton received 1.4, according to Storm Center 7 meteorologist Brett Collar.

All that blowing snow made it impossible to fly the SKY 7 drone until Tuesday morning.  Workers in Xenia were busy with snow removal. Many of the streets and buildings were snow covered.

In Beavercreek, the Little Miami River was free of ice near the Narrows Reserve, but the trees were flocked with snow.

Ice was flowing down a lightly steaming Great Miami River in Dayton. The wind chill was below zero, but the river had not frozen over.
