“You can’t walk by a Rothko and see it in three seconds, you need to take time with it. You have to approach Rothko in the way that’s best for you.”
— Dominique Vasseur, curator of the Rothko exhibit at the Columbus Museum of Art
Dayton Daily News lifestyle, arts and entertainment reporter Meredith Moss has been discovering and sharing special events and interesting outings with newspaper readers for more than three decades. In Worth the Drive, our staff visits destinations or attends ongoing special events across the region to give you an inside look at what to expect so you can make sure your time and your money is well spent. For today’s Worth the Drive, Moss traveled to Columbus to meet with curator Dominique Vasseur and learn more about the first Ohio exhibit focusing on one of the most important artists of the 20th century. If you have suggestions for places or ongoing events that we should visit to see if they are Worth the Drive, send them to Meredith Moss: MMoss@coxohio.com
