A Beavercreek restaurant is top chicken.

A panel of judges voted Pies and Pints Craft Pizza and Beer , 52 Plum St. at The Greene in Beavercreek, best wings at Kickin’ Chicken Wing Fest 2014.

The Miami Valley Restaurant Association event was held Saturday at the Fraze in Kettering.

Amy Zahora, MVRA’s executive director, called Pies and Pints chargrilled wings tasty and juicy.

About 14,000 people attended the festival that featured wings from 10 area restaurants.

People’s Choice for Best Damn Wing once again went to Nick’s Restaurant, 1443 N. Detroit St. in Xenia.

Romer’s Bar and Grill, 4439 W Franklin St. in Bellbrook, came in second in that category.
