Ordering and eating a McMuffin at 3 p.m. might sound like a dream, but McDonald’s President and CEO Don Thompson told CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” that it may not be so far-fetched.
In a response to a viewer question, Thompson said the chain would consider serving breakfast all-day long.
“We have to focus on our existing menu. Focus on the delivery of that and just great customer experience there,” he said. “But we have looked at breakfast across the day part. We have it in some markets around the world.”
Thompson said McDonald’s Innovation Center has looked at “some innovative ways of us expanding the breakfast hours and some of those things in the near future.”
What do you think? Would you like to see breakfast sold all day at McDonald’s?
