First 250 customers to get freebies at Centerville Cabela’s on Saturday


Cabela’s in Centerville is celebrating the holidays early this year by offering in-store giveaways to customers this weekend.

The first 250 customers over the age of 18 on Saturday morning will receive a mystery envelope containing information about their free gift. The envelopes will be distributed randomly and could include outdoor products, Cabela’s gift cards and more, according to the store.

Anyone who wins a firearm will be required to complete and pass a federal background check to obtain the firearm, according to Cabela’s.

Some of the items being given away include Vortex Diamondback 10x42 Binoculars, Savage B22 FV Sporter Rifle, Liberty HDX-150 Smart Vault and Cabela’s Ranger 54” Recurve Bow.

The Cabela’s store in Centerville will open at 8 a.m., according to an announcement about the giveaway scheduled for Saturday.

The free gifts at the Centerville location are part of a nationwide giveaway in which the outdoor retail chain will give out nearly $250,000 in gifts across the company’s participating U.S. retail stores.
