Hamilton man found shot dead near Cincinnati


A 58-year-old Hamilton man was fatally shot Sunday night in West College Hill near Cincinnati.

Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Highland Avenue at 8:24 p.m. Sunday on a report of someone shot, according to our news partner at WCPO.

Officers say they found Timothy L. French dead in the front seat of his van with at least one gunshot wound, WCPO reports.

According to WCPO, investigators are looking to identify two suspects last seen running northbound on Simpson Avenue immediately after the shooting.

The first suspect is described as a black man of unknown age, wearing dark clothing. The second suspect is described as wearing a tan jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Springfield Township Police Department at 513-729-1300 or Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
