Kettering Health has spent more than $12 million acquiring property around the Miami Valley over the past year.
Kettering Health, acting as Outrigger Group Ltd., bought the additional Troy property in a sale recorded by Miami County Oct. 17.
The land is near the entrance to downtown Troy.
In April, the hospital network bought a neighboring site where the former Hobart Brothers factory stood on Main Street for $500,000.

A new hospital is now under construction, which will join the $1.58 billion network’s eight hospitals, 10 emergency departments, and 120 outpatient facilities.
The three-story, nearly 100,000 square-foot Troy hospital is expected to create 120 new jobs and be a $60 million investment.
The facility will be Kettering Health’s entrance into Miami County, which has now has Premier Health’s Upper Valley Medical Center as its only hospital.

“What we’re trying to do is anticipate where health care is headed and to plan for that in a very meaningful matter.” Roy Chew, president of Kettering Health Network, said previously.
Premier Health has pushed back against Kettering Health’s growth plans, claiming its making an unnecessary duplication of services.
