Boil advisory issued for parts of Franklin Twp.

The boil advisory is still in effect for a portion of Franklin Twp. Residents should continue to boil water as a precaution, reports the Warren County Water and Sewer Department.

EARLIER REPORT

The Warren County Water and Sewer Department issued a boil advisory Friday for a portion of Franklin Twp.

The advisory was issued for water customers in the 4271 to 4477 blocks of North Ohio 123 and at 3283 Pekin Road for a water main repair.

Officials said the boil advisory will be in effect after water service is restored for at least 24 hours or until further notice. During the advisory, customers should take either of these precautions:

  • Customers affected by the boil advisory can assure the purity of their water by boiling vigorously for at least two minutes; or
  • Use bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes.
