City again offering community garden plots

VANDALIA — For the sixth season, the Vandalia Community Garden, located in Jeffers Park, 407 Halcyon Dr., is offering plots for Vandalia residents

The garden will feature 15 feet by 20 feet plots which will be available to Vandalia residents on a first come, first serve basis. There are 22 garden plots available.

The gardening season will be open from April 1 to Oct. 31 and a water source is available for gardeners’ convenience.

Interested parties can pick up a registration packet from the Vandalia Recreation Center, 1111 Stonequarry Rd. starting on March 1.
