Clean cars for a cause

Mike’s Carwash hosted a Grand Opening Free Ultimate Wash Weekend on July 15-16 at its newest location, at 6250 Far Hills Ave. in Centerville. The weekend resulted in a donation of $8,096.63 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Dayton. Just over 3,500 cars were washed. A check was presented on July 20. Rita Cyr, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Dayton, said, “This gift could not have come at a better time. We are preparing for the opening of two new Ronald McDonald Family Rooms before the end of this year. This program expansion will allow us to serve an additional 2,000 families a year.” Founded in Fort Wayne, Ind., in 1948, Mike’s Carwash is headquartered in Loveland, Ohio.
