U.S. 35 has reopened this afternoon after police activity shut down the highway in both directions, according to police.

INITIAL REPORT:

Both directions of U.S. 35 is closed this afternoon at Woodman Drive on reports of police activity, according to initial reports.

Initial reports indicated someone was trying to jump from the bridge, according to our crew on the scene.
