U.S. 127 remains shut down in Preble County after morning crash

U.S. 127 south of Camden in Preble County is expected to be blocked for several more hours as crews work to remove at least one vehicle that was involved in a crash Thursday morning.

The route remains shut down between Ohio 725 in Camden and Oxford Germantown Road following the crash first reported around 7:40 a.m.

Additional details and the condition of those injured were not available.

A crash involving two vehicles has shut down U.S. 127 in both directions south of Camden in Preble County Thursday morning.

State troopers and fire crews were dispatched to U.S. 127 near Oxford Germantown Road around 7:40 a.m. on a reported two-vehicle crash with at least one person trapped.

A medical helicopter has been requested to the scene to transport one patient to an area hospital, dispatchers said. The condition of the victims in the crash was not immediately available.
