Fancy felines from around country coming to Butler County this weekend

Felines from around the country will have the opportunity to compete for top cat status during a cat show this weekend at the Butler County Fairgrounds.

More than 150 pedigreed cats and household pets are expected to compete at the 2017 Cincinnati Cat Club’s 65th Cat Fanciers’ Association cat show.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, April 15-16, at the Butler County Fairgrounds, 1715 Fairgrove Ave.

The show is open to the public.

In addition to the judging activities, which will take place throughout the show, spectators will have an opportunity to see cats “up-close and in the fur” while they are waiting to compete.

Tickets will be available at the gate. Spectator admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $3 for children and $12 for a family of four.
