Indiana woman killed in head-on collision on U.S. 35 in Preble County

A Richmond, Ind., woman is dead after she apparently drove left of center in a head-on collision with a semitrailer Wednesday in Jackson Twp., Preble County.

According to the county sheriff's office, 58-year-old Lisa O'Leary was driving a Honda SUV on U.S. 35 near Murray Road that hit an oncoming Peterbilt semitrailer about 12:42 p.m. She died at the scene.

The U.S. 35-Murray Road intersection was closed for 5 and-a-half hours for the investigation.

Northwest EMS, Northwest Fire, Ohio Department of Transportation and the Ohio State Highway Patrol Commercial Inspections Unit responded to the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the offices of the sheriff and county coroner.
