This portion of the multi-phase project began in early summer and included all new furnishings, lighting, cabinetry in the maternity rooms, and bathrooms.

“The upgrades bring a more modern, serene look to the space and provide families a more comfortable environment to welcome their baby,” a statement from Miami Valley Hospital said.

The renovations to the Berry Women’s Center also include a space for use by families with infants staying in the NICU, funded by the Miami Valley Hospital Foundation in partnership with the Ronald McDonald House called the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Emmett’s Place. It has three sleeping rooms as a respite for the immediate family members of the hospital’s NICU patients, as well as high-risk pregnant mothers and their immediate family members.

There will be free parking at the visitor parking garage on Magnolia Street.
