Police said the driver, a 40-year-old woman, was westbound on Ohio 725, went across the median and into eastbound lanes, went into a ditch, went across Heincke and hit a retaining wall. The car came to a rest on its top.

A large debris field starts at Gebhart Church and ends near Heincke Road, according to our crew on scene.

The driver was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.  Following the crash, police told our newsroom the driver had died, but that information was incorrect.

Alcohol is suspected, police said.
