Township to test fire hydrants

The Butler Township Fire Department will be conducting fire hydrant testing from Monday, April 24 through Sunday, May 14.

Residents may notice a discoloration of the water, but the water will remain safe to consume.

If there is any discoloration then you are encouraged to run your water for a few minutes. Residents should call 937-890-2491 and request the duty supervisor if they notice a hydrant leaking or have any questions, according to instructions from the fire department.
