2016 Summer Olympics: Here's the schedule of events for Thursday

He was grinning when he won his semifinal race on Thursday, will Usain Bolt be smiling just as big after the 200-meter sprint final on Thursday? Probably bigger. Bolt will go for the gold in the 200-meter race, and if he wins it, he will be the first person to win the 100-meter and 200-meter races in three consecutive Olympic Summer Games.

On Wednesday, Brianna Rollins, Nia Ali and Kristi Castlin won gold, silver and bronze, respectively, in the 100-meter hurdles. It was the first time in Olympic history  that three women from the same country swept the medals in the event.

The USA Women's Basketball team will take  on France in a semi-final game today, and  a Gold Medal will be awarded in the 10-meter women's platform diving.

Here’s a look at some of the events set for Thursday.
