Acord was convicted of child endangering charges and driving while impaired, WKBN reported.
He was sentenced to one year in jail. Pasek was the passenger in the car Acord was driving. She pleaded not guilty to child endangering charges and will be in court next week.
Photos of Acord behind the wheel and Pasek passed out beside him in the front seat were taken after a traffic stop last Wednesday. Police said Pasek was passed out when they arrived and Acord passed out shortly after.
Police from East Liverpool posted photos of the couple, with a young child in the back seat, on its Facebook page to show the dangers of heroin.
