Popeye the Foodie Dog visits In-N-Out for 'animal style' burgers

Popeye the Foodie Dog, a rescue dog turned Instagram star, finally got to try In-N-Out Burger, and he got his order "animal style."

Ivy Diep rescued Popeye in 2014. She started Popeye's Instagram account, which now has nearly 100,000 followers, after getting the idea from the Instagram dates where she and a friend tried new restaurants and shared images of the food they ordered.

"I would bring Popeye to any of the pet-friendly places, and we realized how good he was around food," Diep told ABC News. "He would sit still for photos."

Popeye gets dressed up for the occasion and usually only poses with the food rather than eating it.

"We'll give him nibbles of anything that's safe for him," Diep told ABC News. "We always carry a bag of his favorite treats as well. He's usually not really into the food anyway."
