La Pinata Mexican Restaurant plans new Centerville location

La Pinata, the Mexican restaurant in a retail shopping center at 1069 S. Main St. (Ohio 48) in Centerville, has submitted plans to the city to open a free-standing restaurant less than a half-mile south of the existing restaurant.

If approved, the new restaurant would be located at 9555 Dayton-Lebanon Pike (Ohio 48), south of Sheehan Road near LCNB National Bank.

The site-plan application for the new restaurant calls for a 4,100-square-foot restaurant to be built on a one-acre tract of vacant land. It would offer seating for 90 inside, and another 36 on a patio. Those plans are scheduled to be considered by the Centerville Planning Commission at its monthly meeting this Tuesday night, Sept. 27.
