Xenia restaurant closes



Uncle Sunny’s posted the following message on its Facebook page on Monday:

“Come out to Uncle Sunnys Fish & Chicken for our final day of business. Can’t say it’s with deep sadness because there is something even greater coming ahead. But this particular location will be closing after today. Keisha, the kids & I appreciate all the support and hope that you will continue to support us in our new upcoming adventure and venue. We will keep the page open and keep you updated . Once again thank you Xenia for all your support!”

About a year ago, this newspaper reported Uncle Sunny’s Homestyle Cajun Fish & Chicken planned to open in early October . At the time, the restaurant was expected to operate 24 hours a day, and seat 40 to 50 people.
